Switching to the new LeadNow
LeadNow has a new office portal and a new technician app, My LeadNow. Your login stays the same.
What doesn't change
Your loginSame username and password as today.
Your leadsEvery lead appears in both the old portal and the new one.
Your timingThe old portal stays available while you move people over.
Photos during the switch
Leads show up in both portals, but photos stay in the portal of the app they were sent from.
A lead sent from the old app keeps its photos in the old portal. A lead sent from My LeadNow keeps them in the new portal. Status and notes show in both.
While some of your team is on the old app and some on the new one, a missing photo means the lead came from the other app.
How to make the switch
- Start with a small groupPick one or two office users and a few technicians who'll tell you if something's off.
- Office users open the new portalContact us for your new portal address. Your current login works there, and the lead list is the same.
- Technicians download My LeadNowIt's a separate app. The old one is called LeadNow and the new one is My LeadNow. Both are still in the app store, so check they get the right one.
What your team gets
Technicians can open a lead they already sentTechnicians can open a lead they sent and see its status, description, photos and voice note. The old app couldn't do this.
A leaderboardShows each technician's lead count for the month.
Photos open properlyTap an image and it opens full size, in the app and in the portal.
Leads for the same property stay togetherWhen a technician submits more than one lead for a customer at the same time, they appear together as associated leads instead of separately.
Reports on the office sideLeads submitted by date, technician performance, lead counts, completed leads, and a status-change report showing when each lead moved stage.
Statuses broken outThe lead list shows the count for each sub-status inside a status.
What to tell your technicians
Steps to take:
- Download My LeadNow. It's a different app from the LeadNow one you have now.
- Sending a lead works the way it does now.
- Your login is the same. Nothing to set up.
- You can now open a lead you already submitted and see what happened to it.
- There's a leaderboard showing who sent the most leads this month.
Questions we get
Do we have to migrate anything?
No. There's no data to move. Office users open the new portal, technicians download the new app, and they can start right away.
Is the new version finished, or is this a trial?
It's in production, handling live leads today.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's included in your current agreement.
What happens to leads submitted from the old app?
They appear in the new portal like any other lead. Only their photos stay with the old portal.
Can some of the team stay on the old version?
Yes. Both run at the same time and both show the same leads. We recommend starting that way.
What if a technician downloads the wrong app?
The old app still works, so nothing breaks. Have them install My LeadNow when they notice.
Who do we contact if something looks wrong?
Use the contact page and we'll get back to you.
Need help planning the switch?
